The #1 desert mistake: entering dunes on low battery. Full power (603+ hp) needs SOC — without it you're left with a 150 kW 2.0T dragging 3.3 tonnes through sand. SOC Hold at 50%+ before the sand, always.
A soft-sand party trick: below 2 km/h the system unlocks full electric torque from standstill — launches with no digging and no turbo lag. It's what gets you moving in sabkha that strands others.
